How do I purchase tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online through our events page starting April 1st. You will receive a digital confirmation including a QR code that can be presented at the entrance of any Parade subdivision entrance.  Once presented, you will then receive a physical ticket with ticket stubs for each subdivision.  During the Parade, tickets can also be purchased in person at the entrance trailers.

Do I need a separate ticket for each subdivision?

One ticket purchase provides one-time access each of our three Parade subdivisions during the entirety of the parade.  Plan your visit in one day, or break it up - up to you!  Just one access per subdivision.  Loved what you saw and want to see a particular subdivision a second time?  You will have to purchase a new ticket.

How long is my ticket valid?

Your ticket is valid for the full duration of the Parade. You may visit homes across multiple days during operating hours.

Are children allowed?

Yes, children are welcome. However, please supervise them closely at all times. These are active homes on the market, and we ask guests to respect furnishings, finishes, and personal property. Strollers are not allowed inside the homes due to space and flooring protection requirements.

Are pets allowed?

No. With the exception of registered service animals, pets are not permitted inside Parade homes.

Tips & Tricks for Attending the 2026 Lubbock Parade of Homes

Make the most of your Parade experience with these insider tips designed to help you explore, compare, and dream big.

1. Plan Your Route Before You Go

With homes grouped by subdivision, you can easily tour multiple properties in one stop. Review the Parade map ahead of time, prioritize your must-see homes, and allow extra time to revisit your favorites.

2. Start Early, Stay Comfortable

West Texas weather can shift quickly. Arrive early for the best lighting and lighter crowds. Wear comfortable shoes, stay hydrated, and give yourself time to enjoy each home without rushing.

3. Ask Questions

Builders, designers, and industry professionals are on-site and ready to share insights. Ask about:

  • Construction methods and materials

  • Energy efficiency features

  • Floor plan customization options

  • Timeline and pricing

This is a rare opportunity to speak directly with the experts behind the build.

4. Take Photos and Notes

After touring several homes, details can blur together. Capture photos of features you love, jot down paint colors or design elements, and note builder names so you can follow up later.

5. Look Beyond the Finish-Out

It’s easy to fall in love with tile and lighting, but pay attention to layout flow, storage, ceiling heights, natural light, and craftsmanship. A great home is built from the inside out.

6. Bring Your Decision Makers

Whether it’s a spouse, business partner, or family member, bring the people who will be part of the building or buying process. Touring together helps clarify preferences and priorities.

7. Think Future, Not Just Now

Consider how the home will function long-term. Is there room to grow? A flexible office? Outdoor living for West Texas sunsets? The Parade is about inspiration and smart investment.

8. Support Local Builders

Every home on the Parade represents local craftsmanship and investment in the Lubbock community. When you build local, you strengthen the businesses that build West Texas.
