Professional Bio
Meet Jennifer Byrd “The Water Girl”; Founder and Managing Partner of Redbird Water! I am from Naples, Florida and became interested in the water filtration after being treated for a water related illness while attending college in 1998. A few short years later I was fortunate to start my career in the water treatment industry. I learned throughout my career that education and community
relationships would be my focus in order to support my mission of changing lives through better water. After over a decade in the industry I was contacted by a company in Lubbock to tackle problematic water in West Texas and the Permian Basin. I came for a long weekend, tested dozens of samples and quickly realized I could help more people here than in SW Florida. So my husband and I packed up
and moved to Lubbock in 2013 with our 4 children, and the rest is history.
In my 20+ years I have been blessed to have served on many Chamber of Commerce Boards, Local, State and National Boards for the Home Builder Association, Non-Profit Boards like United Way, Boys and Girls Club and the Inside Out Foundation and completed Leadership Lubbock in 2014. I absolutely love being involved and giving back to the community that allows me to do what I do
everyday. After 21 years representing the same manufacturer, it was time for me to make a change and in the summer of 2023 I officially launched Redbird Water.
When I have some down time we balance preparing being military parents and traveling to see our two oldest daughters in Hill Country.
